The JV soccer girls team continues to rip through the competition and are one step away from finishing the season as the Pioneer Valley League Champions.

On a hot afternoon at Lincoln High School on Tuesday, the Lady Zebras played well on both sides of the ball against the Bear River Bruins posting a 4-0 victory.

A program that has had its ups and downs over the last several years, Lincoln’s JV girls currently sit with a 7-1-1 record after Tuesday’s win and a 14-1-1 record overall. The only loss of the season occurred on March 26th as the Placer Hillmen clipped them 1-0. The tie came on a rematch with Placer on April 21st.

Placer and Lincoln currently have identical records and both teams would be recognized as co-champions if they finish off the year with wins.

The Lady Zebras will close out their season on today at Center High School. Game time is 5:oo p.m.
