65 Week In Review

We are excited to bring you our first 65 Sports weekly round up. We will get you up to date of sports happening in your area. (If a sports is not listed here it is because the coaches have not uploaded their information on Maxpreps or on any of their school sites. Please contact your coach to urge them to get their teams information up or send in to us at rob.leroy@65sports.com. We would not only love to provide their information, but it would help us know who to go and interview for our site and give them some coverage.)

Although we are biased we do want to start out by pointing out a big game this week by Kiera LeRoy, who yes she is my daughter and a new reporter for 65 Sports, but she also did accomplish something quite amazing. Kiera had 9 blocks in her game on Tuesday afternoon for the Rocklin Gateway Gaters Vs. Western Sierra. Although I struggled even mentioning it, I figured I might as well get it out of the way and honor the great athletic performance, even though I was concerned about having bias as her father.

Adding to that story the Rocklin Gateway Gators are now 4-0 on the season and are heading into what may be the toughest game of their season against Bowman at Bowman. Bowman is also 4-0 on the season. This game expects to have a championship feel to it on Tuesday night.

Staying in Middle School Basketball, Western Sierra falls 2-2 on the year after facing the top to teams in the league this past week in Gateway and Bowman.
